Art runs in my family. My mother, Liz Bonham, an award winning illustrator and impressionist, taught me skills in various media. My grandfather, Elis Durham of Elis Durham Associates, also fed my interest in architecture. With my family's support I was a Medal of Art Honoree in 1996 by the order of President George W. Bush; my awarded painting then hung in the Texas Governor's office.Digital designing was new and exciting. I discovered my passion for graphic design in middle school under the guidance of my desktop publishing teacher. I developed my skills in multiple courses and was given my first Adobe programs in 2000. Then in 2005 I was accepted into an honor program that introduced me to the Autodesk suite. In 2011 I graduated Texas A&M with a bachelor of science and engineering design courses under my belt.Now digital is a way of life. Today I am a multimedia specialist full time for the Texas A&M University system and an independent designer for small companies and individuals.
