I was fortunate to represent the people of Casuarina for almost a decade, dealing with a range of issues from assisting with council issues to housing and community safety, and representing them in Parliament.An active part of our community I supported a number of local initiatives including the trial of the Territory Community Safety Hub, the Northern Suburbs Youth Hub and the Dripstone Middle School STEAM Centre, and supported many local sporting, arts, charity and recreational organisations.

Minister responsible for gender and diversity policy (including women's policy) and whole of government strategic children's policy.

Proud to have released the Northern Territory Suicide Prevention Implementation Plan 2023-2028, including commitment to an NT wide peak in 2024, and to see the contract awarded and work start on the Mental Health Inpatient Unit at Royal Darwin Hospital.

Particularly proud to see incredible groups of young leaders go through and emerge from the Youth Round Table, progress the Youth and Community Hub, and see the co-design and release of the NT Youth Strategy.

A great pleasure to work with seniors, and seniors groups around the Territory on support, implementation of the seniors policy, and intergenerational initiatives.
