About Lauren N. Hartz
I'm a museum professional who loves big picture thinking and finding connections between individuals and the wider world. As the Assistant Manager of Membership + Annual Giving at The New Children's Museum, I get the opportunity to connect families of all backgrounds and sizes not only with interactive contemporary art, but with other families like them. My favorite days are when someone reaches out and says "We were just visiting your museum and knew we HAD to come back" and I get to help them find the membership that works best for their family structure. I have also served as a board member Young Non-Profit Professionals Network of San Diego (YNPN-SD), chairing their membership committee. As chair, I took the lead in committee meetings and initiative setting. I'm proud of how our organizations maintained a solid user base throughout Covid, and how we provided community support, while still offering professional development services. San Diego is a region rich in community and I want to be a part of strengthening those bonds.
Listed skills include Leadership, Event Planning, Public Speaking, Community Outreach, and 14 others.
