The scope of this position ranged from 24/7 emergency response in coordination with law enforcement to long term comprehensive care. Services included (but are not limited to): ensuring safety, interviewing participants, maintaining participant files and statistical records, developing safety plans, implementing service plans, linking participants to resources in the community, addressing basic needs of victims including housing, food, clothing, medical care, counseling, mental health care. Provided employment and educational services, legal assistance, court advocacy, ESL classes, acted as liaison between victims and the Assistant Unites States Attorney, obtained TPO and other court orders. Networked in the community to broaden the scope of resources available to victims and survivors of human trafficking.

Provided case management to survivors of human trafficking and/or commercial sexual exploitation. Anti-Human Trafficking case management services include ensuring safety, interviewing participants, assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating participant needs, maintaining participant files and statistical records. Additionally, this position was responsible for facilitating group and individual counseling to trafficked persons using evidence based practices. Other duties included (but not limited to) responding to emergency calls placed to the Central Ohio Rescue and Restore Coalition (CORRC) 24/7 trafficking hotline, conducted ongoing outreach to both community partners and perspective participants, attended the monthly CORRC meetings and Chaired the Public Awareness committee, maintained the CORRC Service Matrix, developed a safety plan and a service plan in coordination with victims, facilitated weekly street outreach, coordinated volunteer opportunities, volunteer management and planned the yearly Anti-Human Trafficking conference.

Researched national and local news, and also news pertaining to Cedarville University, tying the two together. Scheduled meetings with local news and radio stations, and sent and received emails and phone calls. Responsible for the department budget, payroll, and editing student writing. Sent press releases and event information to local news stations. Additionally I partnered with the events department to market events going on within Cedarville University.
