I am a graduating senior from the university of California, Los Angeles with a bachelors degree in biology. I am seeking work experience within the field of biology to have opportunity to put my recently acquired knowledge to use and to get exposure working in a professional scientific setting.I have previously tutored cell and molecular biology with lab, which helped improve on my abilities to plan ahead, problem solve, lead, and teach peers the detailed intricacies of their lecture and lab materials. I was also given the opportunity to present a 20 minute research project on breast cancer to my faculty and peers while at Santa Barbara city college, where I expanded on several biological pathways being targeted to inhibit breast cancer growth. These experiences have made me more confident in my ability to learn and understand new information, and then re-teach it to someone in a clear and concise manner.I am an incredibly quick learner and good leader. I aim to please and I always strive to go above and beyond in all that I do. I have a very strong work ethic and great communication skills with peers, superiors, customers, and children.
