I work independently as a marketing department of one while coordinating our marketing efforts with our executive team, strategic planning committees, department heads, and vendors. With the high number of regulations dictating bank marketing, I balance creative strategy with legal requirements to drive business goals.I oversee all bank branding and marketing. Daily responsibilities include content development and management of social media channels, website, native advertising within banking applications, digital advertisements, and print marketing. I work with the executive team to discuss marketing initiatives and assist with the implementation of new products. I collaborate with external vendors and internally with other bank departments or committees. All marketing is customer-focused and compliant with federal regulations regarding bank advertising. Brand standards guide design choices to create a consistent customer experience and cohesive advertising.I especially enjoy creating and presenting financial education materials to local students and community members. This work goes beyond advertising to help improve the lives and financial well-being of customers and community members.

My work at Greenleaf Media included developing assets for clients, collaborating with copywriters and developers, and communicating detailed changes needed prior to publication. I would balance time-sensitive production work to meet required design brief specifications within their timelines. Our design work was focused on solving problems and meeting business goals. This included work on responsive website designs, advertisements, branding materials, and marketing collateral. I especially enjoyed the process of designing websites, working with our programming team to bring the designs to life, and developing website content to best showcase our clients. This gave me familiarity working in WordPress, Joomla, and several proprietary CMS systems, as well as basic coding in HTML and CSS.

The Innovation Center provides a start-up hub for new businesses, including business ideas of student entrepreneurs, and area small businesses. I worked one-on-one with new business ventures to create their company branding materials and website. Work consisted primarily of logo and branding design, but also some website design, business card design, and tradeshow materials. All design projects managed independently, with the incorporation of the businesses' feedback and market needs into their designs.

Assisted the sales department with quotations for customers and creation of presentation materials for projects with custom designs. Managed all marketing and advertising, including redesigning the website, maintaining the company blog, updating social media, and creating email marketing.

Creation of sales presentations for various product lines. New business card design, and brochure designs for new products. Assisted remotely with the reorganization of website content and creation of marketing emails. When they launched the sale of products to local construction supply stores, I designed the product display boards and product packaging. I managed the entire project, including printing, production, and shipment of the product to stores. This involved working with various vendors, organizing the timing for everything, and finding space for all of the product after it was assembled, but before it could be shipped.
