I am currently a second year student completing my bachelor of forensic science. In the future, i hope to work within the forensic field specifically as a chemist to analysis and gather information to help law enforcement. At some point I would like to use my education and experience to become a teacher and tech others about chemistry. To do this I would complete my Masters in Secondary Education which would allow me to teach and motivate future generations on how to be sustainable and how to protect our natural environment.Through my degree, I have learned how to collect data and how to use necessary calculations and computer software (such as RStudio's) to identify patterns and trends in data as well as coming up with conclusions and solutions to problems. I have also been able to use this skills to create hypothesis's and evaluate whether the hypothesis should be accepted or rejected. I have also developed my laboratory skills through multiple labs within different disapplies such as chemistry and environmental science. I have also developed transferable skills such as:- teamwork skills - verbal and written communication through project and laboratory write ups - organisational skills- analytical skillsI have qualifications including a Diploma of Business, Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement, Teacher of Water safety and facilitation, First Aid and Mental Health First Aid. Whilst in school I received principal honours awards, subject award's for Diploma of Business, I completely my Fifth grade trumpet exam as well as my Second grade music theory exam. My interests include learning new skills, swimming, reading, martial arts, music and photographMy passions are in human rights activism to make sure that every child has assess to quality education and all people should be treated equally no matter their gender or race. My values in the work place include equality education, the ability for self-development and research, and being able to help people. My personal values include being able to travel, having time to pursue my interests, and being able to attend cultural eventsThe co-curriculars I have started attending at university is the Science PLUS program which helps to hone my employability skills within the scientific community. I am also apart of the Griffith Honours College which puts like minded students together to create a positive change in the world and increase our professional development.
