In my current role, I am responsible for the ongoing refinement of the Sierra corporate brand, including corporate narrative, brand personality and guidelines to achieve corporate milestones. I oversee the development and implementation of robust communications plans to support data announcements, quarterly earnings, industry meetings, business development deals and investor relations activities, among other milestones. I also oversee internal communications and corporate social & digital media for the company. My key achievements for this role so far have been:• Led the development and execution of communications strategy for topline announcement of pivotal Phase 3 data for momelotinib.• Serve as key media spokesperson and contact resulting in positioning Sierra as industry thought leader via executive presentations, contributed articles and media opportunities.• Steered significant efforts in launching Community Connect series to bring patient voice into the company.• Rejuvenated company social media channels, including Twitter and LinkedIn, as well as created monthly social media calendars to consistently share the Sierra story.• Maintained consistent collaboration with Investor Relations function via ongoing refinement of corporate narrative, investor deck and planning/execution of investor and analyst events.• Launched new corporate intranet site for employee engagement and peer-to-peer recognition in addition to standard communication dissemination.

During this tenure, I provided insightful direction to the C-suite regarding communications strategy while serving as key member of Strategic Leadership Team. I revamped the company brand, including corporate collateral, website, social media and related materials. Moreover, I conducted internal communications and engagement celebrations nationally and via traditional / social media campaigns.The outcomes I achieved during this time were:• Strategically positioned as corporate spokesperson for 80+ national locations.• Developed, launched and updated company intranet to serve as the information hub for associates nationally, including writing articles, creating engagement campaigns, and encouraging social interactions for workforce.• Developed and executed COVID-19 crisis communications response strategy, including internal and external messaging for the furlough of 900 employees across the country.

In this role, I delivered substantial efforts in launching and developing content for a weekly global associate newsletter. I fostered long-lasting relationships with agency partners through collaborative leadership style. Additionally, I performed various tasks helping to create a new corporate website, writing articles for intranet, and managing corporate media relations.Selected contributions for this role were:• Served as community relations lead and represented company at advocacy events across the country.• Successfully launched ZEJULA (niraparib) for ovarian cancer.• Administered internal communications and change management strategy during 80% decline in stock price.

• Acted as speechwriter for chief commercial officer, chief administrative officer and chief compliance/ethics officer.• Represented communications function on internal risk assessment and governance boards.• Collaborated with marketing on unbranded celebrity campaigns featuring Demi Lovato and Loni Anderson to raise awareness for mental health and COPD, respectively.• Successfully launched APTIOM (eslicarbazepine acetate) for epilepsy.
