Provide strategic counsel in identifying clients’ public relations and marketing needs and manages the execution of such strategies. Regularly partners with national, regional and local media to secure strategic media placements and opportunities for client in print, digital and broadcast outlets. Manages the distribution of news releases, feature articles, calendar event announcements and media advisories to secure placements for clients. Develops content and coordinate the production of newsletters, annual reports and various marketing collateral materials and assists in the development of advertising copy, as well as the buying and placement of those advertisements in targeted media outlets. Develops and execute various multi-platform online and social media initiatives – includes monitoring, feedback, developing content, coordinating social media advertising buys, utilizing content management systems for websites, leading the development/redesign team for websites and copywriting for newly redesigned/developed websites.

Primarily responsible for writing, editing and distributing news releases, feature articles, event announcements and media advisories for a diverse client base. Heavily involved in the creation of tailored media lists for each of my clients – personally conducting all media outreach and creating extensive media tracking reports on progress / results. Involved in the writing, editing and production process of newsletters and all collateral materials (brochures, trifolds, direct mail pieces, etc.) and am proficient in utilizing various social media outlets (Blogs, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc.) to help meet my clients’ PR/Marketing goals.

Responsible for drafting news releases, photo captions, event announcements and media advisories. Research and compiled specialized media lists/reports, conducted Internet research for clients and participated in strategic brainstorming sessions for key clients. Completed media database training on Cision and completed miscellaneous research, duties and projects as required.

Developed and executed full marketing plans to properly promote events (web based, flyers, personal invitations, street team, etc.). Drafted and sent out press releases on a weekly basis to various media outlets. Researched and hired talent, negotiated talent contracts, and provided the necessary accommodations for artists. Led all interns in training and facilitated the distribution of work amongst interns in their specific areas of expertise (i.e. flyers, web-based promotions, organizing concerts, research & development, etc.)
