Evaluating all excisting, billing related, processes towards both clients and suppliers and rethinking and redesigning these for a new application landscape. Harmonising processes across labels (including those previously serviced by decentral teams) and finding label specific solutions, where needed, that fit within the broader application environment, while continuously talking with the program partners (both locally and internationally) with regards to requirements and new functionality to be build into their applications.Looking across departments to see which impact choises made there have on the billing landscape, as the capstone in the chain from hiring candidates to getting paid by clients / paying independent contractors or suppliers.

Focus on implementation, optimalisation and automation.Implementation of new clients where the client system is leading for the invoicing of external employees and/or where the client has specific invoicing wishes that can't be handled in the normal processes.Analysing of current processes and optimising the flow to provide a smoother work flow. With VBA automising as much as possible to reduce manual actions. Analysing what remaining actions can be handled by our outsourcing partner and what from a quality perspective needs te stay in country.

For the department Billing Services I work with customers on their wishes with regards to the financial handling of external employees and with the consultants of the Manpower Group on making sure all problems with regards to the billing are solved (e.a. different rates / hours between client systems and our own systems).

Responsible for the correct financial operation of all Managed Service Provider programs of the Tapfin brand in the Netherlands. As part of the implementation team responsible to analyse the internal structures of the client and come to a solution to streamline the financial reporting and invoicing for extermal labor and work together with the provider of the chosen Vendor Management System to implement this solution.Responsible for managing two collegues in the handling of all client and supplier invoices and payments and all questions from those parties related to the data related to those. This also includes, but is not limited to, providing steering information for the board of directors and advising the financial controllers.

As a result of a merger, in this capacity I prepared the transition of the Dutch financial administration to the new Financial department in Los Angeles, USA. This also included an extended advisory role about how and why the administration was set up in the way it was and helping with the Dutch regulatory requirements.

This included, but was not limited to, setting up the general ledgers, processing all bills and payments, VAT filings and working together with the accountant on preparing all data for the annual statement of accounts and tax filings.
