As a Marketing Specialist, I took the lead on designing the promotional materials for YMCA Camp Wapsie, a branch of the Cedar Rapids Metro YMCA.

Influence & Co. is a full-service professional branding and specialized online content marketing firm. We focus on building individuals' professional brands to help them grow. As the Content Designer for the Inbound Marketing team, I designed white papers, eBooks and other content products. I worked with the Inbound Team to create captivating designs for different personas in varying stages of our client acquisition funnel. As an Assistant Account Strategist I previously worked hands-on with clients to identify and secure the best publishing opportunities in order to build their professional brands, drive qualified traffic to their sites and build a larger audience. I also had the opportunity to take a leadership role in the strategic rebranding of the company. At FTI Consulting Brussels, I assisted communications and public affairs consultants on client projects. I was responsible for a number of tasks including interviewing potential European Parliment candidates, preparing research, writing/editing content for external marketing brochures and conducting media outreach.

I was responsible for researching and creating online content for a members-only extranet for the European trade association. I created content rich dossiers and statements to guide members through complex and often scientfic media-relations issues.

As an Aquatic Lead at the University of Missouri Student Recreation Center, I oversaw a lifeguarding staff of 75+ other students. I managed risk in and around aquatic center, by planning and leading all staff inservice trainings and conducting frequent audits. I also provided customer service to patrons of all ages and was a first responder in emergency situations.

Team Mizzou Advisory Council, or TMAC, is The Mizzou Recreation Center's student-run leadership committee. As a TMAC representative I served as a liaison and representative for my the Aquatics Department. I regularly inquired about and raised the concerns of my co-workers, and then created action plans for problem solving.

Conducted primary field research around northeast and central Missouri under a USDA grant with the goals of collecting data about food insecurity. I worked under primary researchers from five University of Missouri Departments.
