As a junior at Indiana University with a passion for learning and growing I pride myself on being adaptable, responsible, and persistent in everything I do.Adaptable: Being adaptable and flexible in what I do is something I am proud of. Going into my first day of work at Professional Eyecare Associates, I was told I was going to be working at the front desk. Making and answering calls, filing tax information, and getting the schedule ready for upcoming days. Due to people quitting unexpectedly I was switched to the optical side of the doctor's office where I had to learn many other skills I wasn’t expecting. But due to my adaptability I was quickly able to learn these new skills and adapt to the changing circumstances. Responsible: As a responsible individual I take commitments seriously and ensure I can deliver for the work I am assigned or the promises I make. While working my team members never have to follow up with me and ask If I got a task done, they always know I have it done and completed the task to the best of my ability. Due to this I am a reliable team member.Persistence: Being persistent allows me to pursue my goals with dedication and determination. Even in the face of challenges or setbacks, I remain focused on finding solutions and moving forward. While trying to adjust to college life I had to advocate for myself to find the best fit for my schedule. I believe with hard work and perseverance, anything is achievable.In the future I hope to pursue a career in Accounting where I can continue to use these attributes to succeed in my future profession.
