Strategic marketing and outreach for federally funded program.

Directed photography and video production for UWF's Marketing & Communications department. Supervised the main campus photographer (and other freelance photographers as needed) and directed high-level shoots to ensure that M&CS staff and campus clients had quality digital assets reflective of the UWF brand. Collaborated with the Creative Director; Director of PR and Assistant Director of Web Services to develop integrated digital media plans.Shot, edited and published digital video content and photography. Directed freelance photographers and videographers by providing the necessary planning, coordination, script development, styling and other production assets as needed.Spearheaded casting calls to ensure the right mix of people appeared in marketing materials. Provided resources and strategic direction to campus clients on how to produce and distribute their own digital media (e.g. videos, podcasts, narrated photo essays, etc.).

Led marketing communications, donor relations and stewardship efforts for UWF’s $37 million capital campaign. Managed two campaign steering committees. Developed donor and stewardship plan for Development department. Produced a Foundation annual report—the first ever for the university—that was mailed to $10,000+ donors. Spearheaded efforts to create and install a comprehensive donor recognition wall. Planned campaign kick-off and celebration events. Worked directly with UWF vice president for University Advancement, museum consultants, community leaders, marketing and media professionals to develop and market the Vice Admiral John H. Fetterman State of Florida Maritime Museum and Research Center. Key responsibilities for this project included managing prospect lists, researching federal and state funding, developing marketing materials/plans and writing exhibit descriptions, grants and proposals. Notable achievements for this project included the development and submission of a $1 million federal appropriations request which was supported by Senator Nelson, and proposing and spearheading the production of a campaign video to promote the museum. Enlisted the support of all Honorary Campaign Chairs, including U.S. Senator John McCain, U.S. Senator Bill Nelson, New Orleans Saints Owner Tom Benson, UWF Trustee Nancy Fetterman and Former Good Morning America Host David Hartman, as narrator.Hartman commented “I’m enjoying and respecting your ‘get it done’ attitude, enthusiasm and no-nonsense bashing on!”
