As a marketing coordinator with the Sonitrol team, a leader in providing commercial and residential security services to the greater Indianapolis area, my responsibilities include managing Sonitrol's social media accounts, website redesign and marketing/promotional materials. In addition, I work with the accounting team to process accounts receivables, prepare service invoices, maintain warranty databases and customer files.

Coordinate marketing efforts for open training courses, corporate educations programs and online learning (distance education courses, webinars) through social media, email marketing, PPC advertising, direct mail pieces, catalogs and more. Facilitate meetings and courses from start to finish, including coordination of travel logistics, recruiting faculty, organizing agendas, collecting content and arranging meeting materials, on-site facilitation, and post-course work through evaluations, expense reports and more. Courses offer continuing education credit; familiar with ACCME and ACPE and processes required by organizations to offer continuing medical and pharmacy education.

As a project of Young America's Foundation, the National Journalism Center offers three 12-week training programs for ambitious young journalists looking to combat the prevalent bias in the media. Students from across the country participate in training seminars, internships at prestigious media outlets and network with leading journalists and future stars! As a program officer, my duties included development work through grant proposals and donor stewardship, marketing the program, recruiting and interviewing applicants, communications with media outlets and interns before, during and after the program, and working with alumni to secure jobs in the journalism and media industries.

As a public relations intern, I assisted with communications during two internship programs, assisted with organizing the 30th Anniversary Dinner, implemented new marketing strategies and created multiple brochures and program literature.
