Lauren Pearson, CFP® Managing Director, Partner The most important thing in my life is my family. My husband Andrew is prayerfully discerning next steps for his career. I am the mother of three smart and brave daughters. At the moment, they would all like to be dentists and I’ve convinced two out of the three they should attend the University of Georgia, my alma mater. I don’t have many hobbies, but I am interested in learning about everything. If research is considered a hobby, that would be my thing. This curiosity, which quite frankly can drive those closest to me crazy, is probably what makes me well suited for this profession. To support this passion professionally I have been designated as a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP™), and it is what has led me to launch The Wealth Edit, a membership community for women to talk about wealth. The impact of putting a thoughtful plan in place will last for generations, and I understand the depth of this responsibility. What you will see and read from my online footprint is I principally engage in personal financial planning, asset allocation, portfolio construction and charitable gifting strategies for professionals and families. The key marker of these relationships is trust, transparency, and confidentiality. This is the work I have been doing for over a decade, designing and crafting hundreds of planning scenarios. It is not important to me to have the most assets under management, the mark of the industry, but it is deeply important that I do great work for the clients whom I serve. Beyond my family and my faith this practice is my life work. It is a privilege to lead The Wealth Edit and Somerset and to serve families across the United States. We currently reside outside Charlottesville Virginia where we are restoring a home.
