Teamlead of the GLIMS CASE team, one of the three development teams of the GLIMS product.After 6 years of working as a senior software developer, I ascended to the role of team lead for one of the LIS development teams.My team and I were entrusted with the complete design and implementation of a novel Genetics module, which is meanwhile operational at 24 customer sites.Over the past 2 years, we have also introduced a module for the Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) discipline. This discipline is pivotal in transplantation procedures as it involves testing tissue compatibility between a transplant candidate and an organ donor using the HLA system. A higher compatibility significantly reduces the risk of the candidate’s body rejecting the transplant.I collaboratively introduced a REST backend on GLIMS and guided implementation of a new frontend for our Blood Transfusion module using the Angular framework, enhancing user experience and interface.

Served as a dedicated Progress OpenEdge developer on GLIMS (clinical laboratory software) for a span of 4 years. I conducted new developments, bug fixes and unit tests.I spent 3 years implementing Java-based translators, expanding my technical skills and gaining valuable experience in Java.I co-implemented a Ruby based test automation framework widely used in the company.
