Director Of Patient Care
CurrentI currently oversee and collaborate our team of Patient Care Managers throughout Louisiana & Mississippi while simultaneously growing our patient caseload and referring network within the North & Central Louisiana region. My duties also include clinical patient care such as prosthetic alignment/adjustments, patient consultations, in-service training & education, and community networking. I travel for patient and physician relations while also providing the opportunity to see patients in the office setting. I lead our monthly amputee support group and coordinate our patients’ prosthetic care plans. I frequently refer and initiate patient plans for physical/occupational therapy. I serve as our patients’ main and first point of contact for all inquiries regarding prosthetic needs and education. I often dive in to assist in multiple administrative duties when needed, such as patient scheduling, confirming appointments, reviewing insurance coverage, and preparing referral & intake paperwork. One of my favorite joys of the job includes introducing our patients to our Certified Therapy Dog, Brees. I take pride in my ability to go above and beyond for patients as well as finding and fulfilling ways to make my employer thrive in the industry.
