Launcher Systems Program Manager
Responsible for research and development of acoustically efficient deep submergence launcher products and systems. Applied engineering knowledge of fluid mechanics, dynamics, machine design, control, acoustics, solid mechanics, and polymer chemistry to develop numerical performance models, mechanical designs, and prototype hardware. Performed and directed laboratory tests which encompassed an extensive suite of sensors, data acquisition, and data analysis equipment. Directed the development of elastomeric energy storage and impulse power generation products and systems. Repeatedly demonstrated the ability to rapidly develop novel, technically superior products within budget. Responsible for direction and management of several scientist, engineers, and technicians. Also, responsible for preparing program plans, proposals, and soliciting sponsorship from Naval authorities. Recognized as a Naval expert in elastomer mechanics and numerical modeling.
