Think of my role like a personal trainer, but for small creative businesses. The Real Thiel offers a platform and support service for creatives. The mission is to educate, prepare, improve and grow the lives and businesses of artists, globally, so that choosing a career in the arts is respected and viable. Part of my role involves 'translating' business and accounting knowledge into a format and language that more creative minds will appreciate and understand. These are communicated through blogs, the website, and social media. For those clients looking for more hands-on help I assist with bookkeeping, process improvement, and business growth strategies.Having been a performing artist for most of my life, I have seen and experienced how challenging and frustrating it can be being an entrepreneur in the creative space. This is achieved through an annual festival, as well as other programs and projects.The cornerstone event for The Cabaret Fringe is an annual open platform festival (“Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival”) with a collaborative marketing ‘umbrella’, promoting accessible pathways for audiences to experience emerging and established cabaret artists, and providing income generating opportunities for artists.We will seek to attract partnerships, sponsorships and philanthropy to support the development of Cabaret Fringe and its ventures.The Cabaret Fringe is a non-discriminatory, inclusive, safe and welcoming Association for all its Members and stakeholders. It conducts its activities in compliance with the law, at a minimum, and endeavours to always be honest, and fair in all its dealings.

Like Minded Bitches Drinking Wine (LMBDW) is a group for savvy like minded women to discuss their growing empires. We’re opened to girl bosses with established businesses and entrepreneurial girls who want to start their own businesses. Our group allows women to share experiences, offer support and seek help from one another as well as celebrate wins and drown sorrows over wine.Founded by Gen George (MD & Founder, tamme and Skilld.com) and Jane Lu (CEO & Founder, Showpo) in July 2015, the group has found enormous traction due to a clear gap and demand in the startup scene for such a group.At Jan 2017 there were over 62k members.

We are an alternative asset management firm focusing on specialist investment opportunities for institutional, semi-institutional and high net-worth individuals. Our specialty is in global agricultural land and securities, and Asian emerging markets. Duxton employs a differentiated approach to investing in agriculture with a central premise to investing focused on diversification, no to low gearing and socially responsible investing. I started working with Duxton Capital Australia from June 2017 as an Analyst in the Investment team. My role included researching, analysing, modelling, and writing business cases for a variety of projects and ideas. I enjoyed the creative thinking and problem solving, positive work culture, learning about agriculture and our existing assets under management, and expanding my skills set. I then moved into a Business Development and Relationship Management role. I now work on creating and updating presentations, general marketing and business growth strategy, capital raising, distributing client documentation, and network development. I believe this is a great fit for me given my passion for people, my confident friendly nature, and my experience in agriculture, finance and with Duxton. The focus of my work for 2018 is our listed entitie, Duxton Water Limited (ASX: D2O) and Duxton Broadacre Farms (ASX: DBF).

In 2015 I co-founded an inclusive dance school based in Adelaide and Melbourne, Australia with Co-Director Liz Calahan.
