Lauren's pathway into the TV industry was not so direct. After graduating from Bath Spa University, Lauren worked for BBC Tours at BBC Broadcasting House in Bristol, and also as a Runner for Films@59 (where her biggest highlight was meeting Sir David Attenborough - and bringing him his cheese sandwich.) In 2018 she joined One Tribe TV as a Runner and quickly progressed into the role of Edit Assistant, and now Editor. Recent One Tribe credits include Sex & Sensibility (Sky History), Norton's Coin: The horse that defied the odds (BBC One Wales - Legends of Welsh Sport), Accidental Renovators (BBC One Scotland), Emerald Isles (TG4 and BBC One Northern Ireland) and Mayhem: The Secret Loves of the Georgian Kings (ZDF). Lauren's other role at One Tribe TV is working as the Client and Project Manager for One Tribe Media, the corporate arm of the company. When she's not in the editing suite, Lauren is producing and directing broadcast-quality corporate productions for local organizations, businesses, and charities. Including The NHS, Thalidomide Society, Thekla (Bristol), International Schools Partnership, Gympanzees UK, and more.A theatre kid at heart, Lauren also adores acting, singing, and dancing. And she's not a stranger to public speaking, having worked as a tour guide in Bath and at BBC Bristol for many years.
