Beginning with a two year apprenticeship with Bentley LeBaron on Denman Island, my sculpture career took over my previous art mediums such as pen and ink illustration, oil painting and collage. I loved the idea of creating forms in 3D and developing my ideas while sculpting in clay. Over the years I sculpted original artworks in ceramic for garden ornaments, theatre props and for private commissions. This includes working with my skills in woodworking, mould making, and the use of various materials, machines and tools.
