When I joined Renault in 1999, I initiated a simulation environment to support control laws synthesis for innovative transmission projects. Later positions as software architect and as software leader allowed me to acquire experience in most of the aspects of Model-Based Design, including simulation, modeling rules, autocoding, embedded software, and development team leadership.My last position at MathWorks allows me to expand my knowledge to alternative areas, such as aeronautics and Model-Based System Engineering. By climbing up the V development cycle, I'm investigating topics like requirements and scenarios modeling, using advanced technics such as formal proof and discrete-event simulation.What are the missions of a pilot at MathWorks?- To build proofs of concept for specific industrial use cases.- To investigate complex framework requiring a deep customization of MATLAB/Simulink.- To identify potential enhancements of our tools, always focusing on the users needs.- To explore strange new worlds, to boldly go where no man has gone before (my favorite).
