My responsibilities included:- Overall management and supervision of magazine production: editorial team management, editorial monitoring and planning, prepress and production process monitoring (proofreading, translation, layout, photo selection, technical specifications, briefing for illustration, quality checks, mock-up final checking before printing, work with the printers).- Writing and editing papers, and conducting interviews featuring high-profile figures, including tennis champion Caroline Wozniacki, sprint legend Usain Bolt or EU political leaders such as Margot Wallström, Guy Verhofstadt, José Manuel Barroso and Martin Schulz, among others.- Budget and human resources management. - Marketing and advertising activities.- Searching for external contributors to the publication.- PR activities (with external contributors and interviewees).- Management of the magazine distribution (stock management, postal returns, subscriptions, identification of distribution points and deliveries, database update), communication and visibility (including search for advertisers and partners).
