Within the post-trade team of the "surveillance on financial market infrastructures, payment services and cyber risks" department, I contribute to the prudential supervision and oversight of FMIs, with a particular focus on Belgian CSDs. My supervisory work is mainly based on the CSDR, CRR and BRRD, as well as Belgian banking law, whereas oversight is mainly based on the CPMI-IOSCO PFMIs. I also contribute to the oversight on foreign FMIs via working groups and colleges. I'm also involved in policy work at Belgian and EU level, relating to the settlement of securities and the use of DLT in this domain.
