As President of First Excel Title, LLC Ms. Kinard is responsible for all residential, land, and commercial transactions in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia for the Real Estate Settlement Firm.She has been instrumental in the growth and expansion of the company in the DC Metro Region. In addition to the growth and expansion in DC Metro. Ms. Kinard led the efforts of First Excel Title’s expansion in the South through the affiliate, First Excel Title South, LLC, which currently has expanded into North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and Georgia.Ms. Kinard oversees and manages day-to-day operations and compliance of company in multiple jurisdictions. Her vast experience allows her to handle a variety of real estate settlements, from multifaceted land acquisitions to residential refinances/outsales in DC Metro Region.She has also has initiated a partnership with the organization Women Giving Back (WGB). Thanks to Ms. Kinard's efforts, First Excel Title, LLC, is now recognized as a WGB Hero. WGB was founded to help homeless women and children get on their feet with clothes to help them enter the workplace. Ms. Kinard also serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee as the Secretary for WGB.(www.womengivingback.org) Lauren and her husband, Jonathan, are active supporters and advocates of the organization HomeAid Northern Virginia (www.homeaidnova.org), Salvation Army Angel Tree Program (Fairfax Co.), Women In the Building Industry, and Vienna Volunteer Fire Department.In 2019, Ms. Kinard was selected to join the Board of Directors for HomeAid Northern Virginia. She was also the 2019 ALTA Our Values Award Recipient for the WE DELIVER award. This national award for the WE Deliver award is presented at the ALTA One conference. Ms.Kinard was nominated and selected as the award winner for the person who goes above and beyond to provide amazing service and takes care of her customers. Wrapping up 2019 she was also a Heroine of Washington Finalist. Heroines of Washington is one of Washington's most unique events, recognizing and honoring professional women in the DC Metro Area for their dedication to community service.In November 2020, Ms. Kinard was selected to join the NVBIA Board of Directors and serve on the Executive Committee.Ms. Kinard was nominated and selected to join the prestigious Class of 2021 Washington Business Journal's Top 40 Under 40.First Excel Title, LLC has been continually recognized annually as a Washington Business Journal Top Title Company.
