As Media Buyer, I work with in-house account managers to create and implement advertising budgets and campaigns for over 60 shows and events annually. Other responsibilities as Media Buyer include copy writing for marketing materials, communicating with national and local marketing agencies, and creating advertising reports to measure and adjust advertising efficacy. In September 2014, I took the initiative to learn digital advertising on the Google Display Network through online tutorials, allowing me to handle digital campaigns directly and keep advertising dollars in-house. As such, I have a strong knowledge of Google AdWords and Analytics, and supplement digital campaigns with social media advertising through Facebook.In January 2014, when the Broadway production "War Horse" was coming to Proctors, I spearheaded a fundraising project for Saratoga WarHorse, an organization that pairs horses with veterans experiencing psychological difficulties after coming home from war. By donating $10 from every ticket sold to the show, Proctors was able to donate $8,900 to Saratoga WarHorse.

Responsibilities included copywriting for printed marketing materials, broadcast tv and radio commercials, and the Proctors blog on the Albany Times Union blog site. I also maintained relationships with national and international marketing companies and booking agencies, coordinating show-based promotions and contests. In addition, I assisted the Marketing Manager and Media Buyer as needed with data collection, gathering marketing materials and maintained updated information and materials for each show or event.I assisted the Web Content Manager with event page creation through Drupal, proofread all webpages, edited and updated historical information about Proctors, and gathered/wrote event copy for the web.
