Life is a journey. Often, however, individuals focus too much on the final destination and forget about the trip itself. When life becomes difficult, I partner with individuals to assist them in overcoming obstacles and challenges. I am passionate about helping women and teen girls achieve balance, health and wholeness in their lives. I believe that all individuals are uniquely gifted. I strive to help clients discover their unique purpose in life and achieve the success and joy they desire. I compassionately assist and partner with individuals to help them explore their past, thoughts, feelings, choices, relational patterns and behaviors and help them promote growth and achieve positive change in their lives. I am genuinely committed to offering my clients grace, compassion and understanding while integrating Biblical truth with therapy techniques. I obtained my Master of Arts in counseling from Western Seminary (Portland, Oregon). I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington (LMHC 5630) and a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). I have worked in community mental health with children and adolescents on a variety of issues including ADHD, depression, anxiety, social skills, anger management, abuse, communication and identity. I have worked with parents on solving parenting issues and improving their skills. I have also worked in a local domestic violence shelter for women and children. My most recent experience focuses on partnering with women and teen girls on issues including eating disorders, abuse, infidelity and co-dependency. I am committed to community outreach in my church.
