As a Data Scientist at Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services, my primary role was to analyse vast volumes of data to optimize the logistics chain across Wärtsilä's businesses and subsidiaries. Through my analysis, I contributed to maximizing spare parts availability and strengthening on-time delivery and quotation, thereby enhancing our service sales.To give a perspective to the magnitude of volumes, in 2022, our organization handled over one million line items in more than 160,000 packages and booked over 150,000 transportations. Utilizing Power BI as the primary reporting tool, I meticulously modelled and visualized data from SAP ECC and EWM environments to derive actionable insights for diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analysis.Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across various locations, I implemented data-driven solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. My responsibilities included coaching colleagues, developing reports, developing data tables and pipelines in AWS, and streamlining processes within the logistics chain.I continuously sought opportunities to innovate and improve our reporting processes, aiming to deliver lean pipelines and provide accurate and insightful analytics. My greatest achievement in WGLS to date has been setting our reporting environments to a robust base, which still today continues to yield positive results for the team.

I specialized in the development of tailored solutions using QlikView and Power BI for Finance & Controlling purposes.
