Assist in Capital improvement planning & mapping - by identifying areas of greater concern. Sanitary sewer, drainage & CSO mapping – Create database, map, attribute and maintain infrastructure for assistance with the design and implementation of the CSO program. Water, Drainage, and Sewer shed management to coordinate with the CSO project.Develop, manage, enhance, and maintain Public Works GIS Infrastructure. Collect field data with GPS equipment. Maintain metadata. Interpret As-built drawings and archive plans transcribing information to GIS database. Provide project support though GIS spatial analysis. Monitor and evaluate processes and scripts for automated data manipulation and management. Projects include Pedestrian network and connectivity, road network and pavement management, snow removal, trash removal, street sweeping, bus routing, and sign mapping for traffic studies. Facilitate interdepartmental data sharing though GIS interface. Manage ArcReader/Arc Publisher projects and support requests for these projects. Provide GIS training to staff, program development and implementation.Assist with in-house design process for highways, site-work, utilities, and various other infrastructure improvements. Assist with field surveying, construction inspection and project management. Operates and maintains computerized survey equipment, sets grade stakes, records and compiles engineering data. Completes deed research for missing properties, abandonments and transfers.

Westover Air Reserve Base

Perform base-level Head Quarters Air Force Reserve Command (HQ AFRC) GIS activities and communicate the HQ AFRC GeoBase mission to the installation. Coordinate base-level GIS activities with the HQ AFRC geographical Information Office. Coordinate, develop and document procedures for updating Geospatial data within the Civil Engineering community. Assist in the design, development, collection, maintenance, analysis, presentation, delivery and archiving of spatial data for GeoBase Program and its various projects. Provide feedback to HQ AFRC GIO as to status of all assigned projects. Provide services, performed data queries & analysis, research and analyze field and engineering data for various departments that reside on Westover Air Reserve Base. Some of the services that I have provided are: base maps, existing utility maps and data, and proposed construction to the engineering department (electrical, civil, and mechanical engineers); boundary and cadastral maps as well as setback requirements and encroachments to the Real Property Manager; water line and fire hydrant locations, flow test areas, and emergency response data to the Fire Department; base maps, site maps, and maps of areas for dig safe to the Construction Department and Base Contractors; locations of hazardous materials, confined spaces, and other environmental concerns to the Environmental Department; setback information and security issues to our Force Protection Officer; airfield constraints and bird strikes to the Flight Safety Department; as well as creating and maintaining new layers with up to date attributes to produce quality maps and support the WARB mission. Other responsibilities included: assisting with the coordination of GeoBase adoption and GIS development and implementation; providing assistance to decision-makers in setting GIS goals and establishing priorities to support the command’s mission; and evaluate impacts of new technologies on current system and policies.

Hartford, Connecticut Area

Worked in conjunction with engineers and drafters to build, maintain and update utility data within the GIS system through the use ofphotogrammetry, as builds, and engineering plans. Analyze and research field and engineering data.

Northampton, Ma

GIS Consultant for the Historic Mill River Corridor and Brownfield’s Assessment Project. Responsible for updating the Northampton GIS layers and providing all available information. Scanned OPD permit records and files and used one or more databases to organize the records. Prepared paper and electronic maps relating to the above project.

West Springfield, Ma

Mapped trails using data from existing trail maps and field data gatheredwith a GPS unit. Created new entities with corresponding attributes by downloading data into Pathfinder Office, differentially correcting that data, and exporting as an Arc Shape file.

Holyoke, Ma

Northampton, Ma

Responsible for updating Northampton GIS parcels to provide all available information about them. Adjusted current data layers. Inserted wetland and parcel surveys into current GIS.
