I am a communications professional with more than 15 years of experience in my field. I started as a Marketing Manager at Steptoe & Johnson PLLC in September 2023, and I am eager to continue to grow in my field at a successful and well-respected law firm. Most recently I worked at the Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce as the Marketing and Communications Director, while freelance writing for Weelunk and In Wheeling Magazine, and serve on a number of boards and committees with causes that are close to my heart. My favorite thing about my job is being able to build strong, successful relationships with business owners, my community, and my peers. A little about me: I spent eight plus rewarding years as a journalist climbing the newsroom ladder at my station in Wheeling - starting as the overnight producer and working my way up to the evening news anchor and managing editor. When it came time for a career change I worked in internal corporate communications for nearly a year, before beginning a position in non-profit marketing. I fell in love with this area and community while working at WTRF and being privileged to tell the stories of the incredible people and organizations that call this area 'home.' The relationships I built during my early career have sustained well into my current role, and those experiences allow me to continue to grow personally and professionally as I meet new people. I currently serve as a board member at Wheeling Health Right, The Ohio County Family Resource Network, and The United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley. I have volunteered my time for The Alzheimer's Association, The American Heart Association, The Augusta Levy Learning Center, The United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley, and the Marshall County Animal Shelter.
