Manage forecast exceptions to achieve targeted service levels and turn rates. Review and release planned purchases as scheduled in order to ensure effective flow of inventory. Perform necessary purchasing system analysis, system maintenance ensuring inputs are complete, accurate and up to date. Monitor attainment of section and supplier service and adjust system as needed. Interface and plans with other departments and suppliers to ensure replenishment for ongoing needs and special promotions. Ensure open order files are aligned resulting in open orders being fulfilled and shipped correctly by the supplier.

Proactively communicate service issues to management. Work across all channels of Supply Chain to solicit feedback and coordinate efforts to enhance internal and external customer satisfaction. Monitor and analyze inventory service levels and turns for selected area. Indentify issues, suggest solutions to improve service. Collaborate with inventory team and other functional areas to develop and execute policies and procedures. Coordinating and executing adds and drops process and support life cycle management such as inventory resets and realignments.

Analyze inventory reports to ensure product is available for the national accounts. Analyze sales history and work with customers to determine monthly forecasts. Review inventory levels and determine best actions to take to provide customer with top levels of satisfaction. Run weekly and monthly fill rate reports to determine cause of failure to provide product and review hits with buyers to establish a recovery.

Developing a relationship with vendors to provide accurate carrier information and supply the warehouses with carrier information to secure appropriate appointment schedule. Updating the system on ETA’s and notes on backorders to provide the sales team accurate information to their customers. Following up with vendors to check if they received a purchase order and notify the buyer and product administrator on discontinued product and pricing discrepancies.

Ensure accurate bills of material and assembly documents for gift set assembly in house and overseas contract packagers, establish and distribute work orders for in house and contract packagers, prepare documents and books needed for oversea set assembly, reconcile inventories for internal and external contract packagers, maintain the accuracy of the Production Schedule to ensure sufficient inventory levels by analyzing the flow of raw components, Create Internal Replenishment Orders to keep accurate amount of inventory for production and for sales orders, keep track of the QC log by inspecting product that comes n from overseas. Notify the company of line start-ups in production as well as attending line start-ups in house and at contract packagers for correctness of production. Reviewing the quality assurance of production samples set from overseas and handling customer complaints that refer to our Bath and Beauty gift sets.

Ensure accurate bills of materials for in house production of accessories, reconcile inventory balances with internal assembly, analyze stock status on specific items and schedule production to maintain sufficient inventory levels, ensure timely accurate draw down of components and attend line start-ups for in house assembly.
