My puppet show - It's OK To Be Different - for Pre K to grade 3 is designed to teach social skills, introduce diversity, build empathy and compassion. It also promotes accepting and valuing people and groups who are different from ones self and family, respect for each other, tolerance, finding our similarities and reducing bullying. Overall I try to promote living harmoniously together. I help them to develop self-confidence, navigate change with ease, optimize their individual capabilities and talents, promote appropriate social skills and inspire them to be their best through education, sports, drama, etc. I will assist the administrators, faculty and guidance counselors with programs that will help provide positive experiences for children while remedying the negative, such as diminishing bullying in schools. I can educate on the downfalls of substance abuse, inspire children to get good grades, help children develop into good citizens, and to enjoy their life.

I was responsible for all invoice payments and issues relating to vendors domestic and foriegn. I assisted 12 in-house attorneys, Dept Lead Counsel, administrative assistants, paralegals, depts within the company, all outside counsel, medical personnel, expert witnesses and vendors. I assisted in implementing electronic bill paying. I served on Six Sigma law dept project. I worked closely with many depts within the company.I assisted with dept budgets and financial information for law dept audits.

State of Connecticut / Dept of Mental Retardation. Management / Floor Supervisor.In my 10 years working for DMR I had many oppurtunities to work with a diverse clientele. My work consisted of working hands on with residents teaching many skills. I wrote programs that were educational, recreational and assisted with behavioral guidelines. I supervised a behavioral unit, the employees and all paperwork and shift problems. I also on a monthly basis supervised an entire building consisting of four separate units semicare, total care/medical, behavioral and respite care.I was responsible to ensure successful turnout during State inspections. I attended meetings with medical, behavioral and legal personnel. I attended court proceedings if needed. I trained staff on programming and other relevant issues. But the most rewarding was working with the residents and thier families and seeing positive outcomes, along with the residents learning skills despite thier disabilities
