HistoryI was born and raised in the California Bay Area in the 60’s. During high school I worked for Apple, because it was across the street and paid better than babysitting. Way more interesting, too.I got a bachelors degree in Computer Science in the early 80’s from Cal Poly. I worked for IBM for a while, until I figured out I didn’t like being a six digit number. I moved to a small software startup. I was employee # 6 and left when they hit 180 people, 'cause it wasn’t fun any more. I ended up setting up and training distributors in Australia and Europe spending significant blocks of time out of the States.After that, I moved to another software company. They were starting an agency in the UK and I was offered a position of Director of European Technical Support, so I moved to England (Henley-on-Thames to be precise) with six weeks notice.I was with this software company for a year then did some consulting in England.CurrentlyAfter living in UK for 5 years, I couldn’t take it anymore (the country needs a bloody roof!), so we moved back to the States. I didn’t want to live in California, too crowded and smoggy, so we gave Colorado a shot and have loved it here ever since.We have a small-ish software company, but I end up traveling to clients frequently since they are scattered all over the US and Canada.Also, I just finished a book on 8D Problem Solving (available on Amazon).
