Field gathering is inclusive of over 6,000+ miles of pipeline, 7000+ meters, 55+ compressor sites, 140+ compressor units and 10 turbines. Asset is structured to portray a super system between 2 treating/dehydration facilities and 1 major plant processing plants produces a Residue, NGL, LNG, Propane, Butane, and Gasoline grade products. Asset is operated through 180 multi-disciplined field/craft/plant employees. Responsibilities include managing all operational, engineering, safety, environmental compliance, producer relations, mechanical reliability, plant efficiency, budget management and earnings sustainment. Including developing and forecasting operation and capital budgets, ensuring appropriate engineering controls are employed, develop processes to systematically reduce on going opex, and build employee and team alignment towards common goals.

Managed all aspects of engineering and operations associated with a grass roots buildout of a gathering, compression, dehydration and high pressure delivery system. Responsible for engineering design, equipment bidding and selection, procurement, construction buildout and startup activities. Alongside these activites managed all integrity and environmental permits and procedures.

Manage all aspects of a vast gas gathering super system with cryogenic processing, sulfur and helium recovery. Responsibilities include safety, environmental compliance, producer relations, mechanical reliability, plant efficiency, budget management and earnings sustainment. Responsible for 300 MMSCFD asset that employs approximately 200 multi-disciplined field/craft/plant employees. Asset encompasses 18 counties, 10,000+ miles of gathering system, 110+ booster sites with 245 field compressor units, 2 cryogenic processing plants with Helium recovery and one central treating facility with SRU operations. Supersystem expands over 12,000 square miles and includes over 6000 meters. System is aged infrastructure that gathers highly corrosive gas under vacuum and pressure conditions. Led asset to a record run of 815 days without Recordable Injury (RI). Focused on hazard recognition and the 3 I’s of safety culture (Safety Individual/Interaction/Infrastructure) Developed a systematic tracking mechanism to assist in identifying L&U hot spots in a supersystem environment. Additionally, developed tracking tool to streamline repair process efficiency. Asset performs 300+ in house line repairs a year.Led asset to a significant reduction in excesses emissions through implementing strategic operational and engineering controls.

Developed engineering and operations business development cost structures for variety of project scopes from well connects to multi-million dollar grass roots system/plant projects. Actively participate in investor and producer relations. Responsible for all aspects of engineering/operations of a newly formed entity located near Keene, ND. Responsibilities included engineering oversight, construction, and startup commissioning of 3-18 mile pipelines: 12” gas line, 10” oil line, and 6” fiberspar water line with central delivery point separation and crude oil trucking terminal. Assisted in development and coordination of all company policies and procedures in relation to engineering/operations. Assisted in staffing/training/supervising operations personnel.

Acting plant manager for the startup of a grassroots 25 MMSCFD high efficiency cryogenic plant with a NRU/HeRU cold box. Responsibilities ranged from managing day to day plant personnel and operational issues to developing and implementing company and plant policies and procedures. Startup efforts included training operators in the following processing disciplines: Compression, Deoxification, EG Injection Dewpoint Control, Amine Treating, Expander/Compression Cryogenics, Helium Recovery with Tube Trailer Loadout, and Nitrogen Rejection. Companywide responsibilities included engineering and operations oversight of existing helium liquefaction plant, gathering systems, and air injection facilities.

Project Engineering Manager for Northern Division projects. Responsibilities include supervision of four exempt employees and overseeing all major projects in three states. Team lead in developing 5 phase project management process and guidelines to be implemented company wide.Design engineer/project manager for a $14 MM gathering system pressure reduction project in Guymon Hugoton field. Project scope includes construction of four grass roots compressor sites in conjunction with low pressure upgrades at two additional sites. Design engineer/project manager for an $11.5 MM plant/system optimization effort. Project includes shutdown of one processing plant, expansion of amine treating unit and inlet receiving, installation of over 7000 hp and miscellaneous pipeline modifications. Responsibilities include design/spec of new amine regeneration package, hot oil heaters, exchangers, compressors, and pumps/piping. In addition, project management and cost control as well as startup assistance. Project economics include savings of $1.7MM annually with EBIT of $3.5MM. Project manager/Design engineer for $2MM restart of an idle 60 MMSCFD NRHe cryogenic processing plant. Job responsibilities included maintaining cost control, facilitating PHA revalidations, writing operating procedures, developing data and tracking mechanisms, and supervising startup efforts. Project manager/Design engineer for the installation of two independent acid gas injection well facilities. Project cost totaling $4MM with combined NPV over $5MM. Design engineer for over 50 miles of new constructed pipelines. Pipeline projects ranging from vacuum service optimization to high pressure steel line with liner applications.

Fluent in Hysys and Promax modeling systems to design and troubleshoot operational problems and/or improvements.
