As a writer on the Marketing Team, I work closely with Graphic Designers and Digital Media to create a variety of marketing materials such as brochures, invitations, billboards, flyers, signage, advertorial, news releases and much more.

Responsibilities include managing the Firmwide Continuing Legal Education program for 700+ lawyers in jurisdictions around the nation, coordinating and facilitating professional development programs for associates of all levels such as writing programs, pathways to success and client development. Planning the annual summer associate weekend event with 150+ attendees, creation and distribution of any invitations and bimonthly recruiting newsletter, maintaining intranet information for the department and reporting on hiring information and summer associate statistics.

Responsible for all external communications with survey publications such as Chambers and Legal 500, which included tracking over 200 individual submissions, any follow up items and writing/publishing the result to the internal and external websites. Responsible for editing and distributing news releases, transaction advisories and media advisories through PR Newswire, InterAction, providing traction reports, archiving releases and creating a year end recap. Schedule lawyer interviews with media and survey publications, including any necessary follow up. Was involved in business development efforts within the firm. Other responsibilities included writing items or announcements for posting to intranet and external website. Also, created and maintained media distribution lists in InterAction. Authored an internal html document, the Firm Resource Guide that is accessible only to partners within the law firm and provides marketing materials and quick reference points about the firm.
