In my current role at Purdue University Global, formerly Kaplan University, I build and maintain positive working relationships with upper management, my peers/team, and individuals and departments across the university by providing superior customer service and exceeding expectations in support of the following responsibilities: • Facilitate new faculty orientation by engaging on the LMS with faculty, guiding their learning of the University LMS platform and best practices, and assessing their achievement of basic faculty competencies in preparation to teach their first course.• Develop, coordinate and host professional development activities, workshops, and events by researching the need for specific training, designing the format and layout of the activity, and providing a variety of delivery options.• Develop, coordinate, and host our yearly online conference as a team member and lead a support team for the conference• Cultivate opportunities for faculty, staff, and administrators to network, collaborate, and engage in scholarly research.• Provide mentoring support• Support school driven faculty initiatives• Participate in identifying instructional media to support best practices for faculty and student experience.• Communicate through various channels to academic administrators and faculty to ensure they have information to be effective in their roles.• Ensure compliance with CTL standard operating procedures.  • Serve University faculty through a centralized website for ease of access• Manage professional development activity data for university and accreditation purposes• Communicate relevant University information to academic administration and faculty• Serve on committees and recommended by upper management as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee founding and voting member.
