Working on a small but mighty team of 2, we are designing the FoW (Future of Work) at Fastly and reimagining the Employee Experience using design thinking and data analysis. I also manage over 30,000 sf of office space in the LA area preparing for the return to office.

While maintaining my role as Head of Business Operations, I was also in charge of every step of the Employee Experience from Onboarding to Offboarding and employee relations. Facilities negotiation, design, and buildout for a new 20,000 square foot office space, negotiations of a sub-lease and Lessor relations, and vendor relations. Launched our first performance review cycle with 100% participation from employees with a positive feedback experience process. Partnered with our VP, People to create management training for all new and experienced managers so they are prepared to lead with integrity and trust in all interactions.Led the shift from in-office to full remote work at the onset of COVID-19 ensuring that our culture stays intact and continues to grow with Inclusion and Belonging as a focus.

Continued to manage and maintain all business operations and HR functions of a rapidly growing team, from 50 to over 100. Managed integration to new processes and platforms by evaluating and making decisions on new HRIS systems, payroll platforms, and benefits brokers. Brought on new programs to continue to further our diverse culture. Led the real estate search, contract negotiations, and re-location from a 2000 square foot space to a 13000 square foot space. Managed the construction, build-out, design, IT transition, and opening of our new HQ with no downtime or disruption to employees or customers. Responsible for all vendor and facilities management.

Provided support to the CEO for all internal business functions and external communications. Managed growing the team from 20 to 50+ employees. Maintained HRIS system, negotiated benefits, developed programs, and led culture for a diverse group of employees across the US and Japan. Provided guidance to team members for swift conflict resolution. Oversaw the relocation of teams as growth continued.

Providing life skills training to emancipated foster youth in South Florida. Executive Office Manager, Fundraiser, Life Skills Coach, Mentor. Developed and led a 2-year in-house program for foster youth with a 90% success rate that was adopted in 25 states in the US. Led fundraising and grant writing, and planned fundraising events for elite guests and donors that raised millions of dollars for TNV. One of the greatest gifts of this position is that I still am in contact with most of the kids I worked with and they are successful and thriving members of society that had once been given up on.
