Human Resources support for the North Florida District with four regions with approximately 160 employees. Serving as a liaison between the district and Corporate Human Resources/Legal on all HR functions up to and including: Benefits, Termination/Resignations, Disciplinary progression and write-ups,Performance Management, ADA, FMLA, EEOC, Worker’s Compensation and Unemployment, Recruiting for the district for all positions, ensuring that district complies with current rules and regulations on all HR/Legal functions, conduct investigations with District Director and Corporate HR/Legal, conduct New Employee Orientation and complete all on-boarding paperwork.

Promoted to be HR Generalist and relocated to Virginia to transition a newly acquired region with eight locations with a total of 125 employees to the company culture, policies and procedures, all with great success. Within in six months, I supported all U.S. locations, which consisted of four regions with 13 locations in five states with 156 employees and delivering in a remote structure. I managed this process independently with my HR Manager located in Canada. I was a consultant and coach to leaders on all HR Administration and effective leadership. I recruited all levels of employees and supported hiring managers in the selection process. I was involved or implemented all parts of the Human Resources processes up to and including: New Hire orientation/on-boarding for all employees, exit interviews, employee benefits program, Wellness program, training and development, positive employee engagement, feedback, retention, personnel planning, investigations, Worker’s Comp reporting, Affirmative Action Plan, STD/LTD, leave of absence and FMLA.
