As the Chief Information Officer and Director of Marketing, I am responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans and policies aligned with Firm goals. I am charged with driving business results through the use of technology, communications, advertising and digital marketing. Experiences:Led the development and execution of a comprehensive learning management system establishing McKenzie Lake as the first Canadian Law Firm certified in industry standard LTC4 Core Competencies. A significant investment in a competency based approach to training and skills development ensures our staff and lawyers have the skills and tools necessary to provide efficient service to our clients. Instrumental with the development and execution of an award winning project that revolutionized the way law firms used social platforms for Class Action law. Results included Best Social Media Campaign in the legal field with the Internet Advertising Awards (Web Marketing Association) and recognition by the International Legal Technology Association with the Professional Service Champion Award for innovative work done in social media arena in support of the practice of law. I accomplish this through my volunteer involvement as a Board Member with the London Chamber Business of Commerce and previously the Board Chair and Vice-Chair with the national organization Women in Communications & Technology, I am an active mentor with WCT and member of various community advisory groups.
