120 bed subacute facility with 24 bed trach and vented unit throughout Covid. The vented unit never had a Covid case in the year in the half I was there. Covered for the administrator who was out on a cruise which was stuck out to sea. maintained staffing at appropriate levels. Changed staffing from 8 hours to 12 hours to ensure proper levels during Covid.

Started with this company when they took over the contract at Central New Mexico Correction Facility as a Director of Nursing and moved up when the position for the Health Service Administrator opened. Working with the medical staff to improve and streamline nursing care and documentation. Ensure all staff have the equipment and supplies that are needed to perform the job to ensure positive outcomes. Complete audits, ensure appropriate staffing based on the staffing matrix and contract. Work with recruiters to schedule and hire as needed. In collaboration with the Directors of Nursing hire/terminate and or counsel as needed. Ensure the contract is followed and the Department of corrections is aware of any issues with medical that may occur.
