RUNWAY is a financial innovation firm that works to repair the structural inequities of the racial wealth gap by providing entrepreneurs of color early stage “Friends & Family” funding and holistic business support that is the crucial foundation for business success and long term community wealth building.We are driven by the guiding principle that capital can be used to heal, repair and connect. The REAL People’s Fund is a community capital fund offering equitable access to finance for small businesses in the historically disinvested East Bay communities of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Our goal is to build economic power and expand opportunity for everyday people. Founded and controlled by six grassroots organizations, the REAL People’s Fund directly addresses the systemic failures that prevent entrepreneurs in BIPOC communities from accessing the financing their businesses need to thrive.

Responsible for all facets of the operation related to receiving food into thewarehouse, organizing and storing it, and packing it into customer orders. Conducted regular food safety checks of the space, oversaw facilities maintenance and upkeep as well as inventory and ordering of supplies. Designed and led trainings related to new systems including: new digital apps for fulfilling orders, use and upkeep of new packaging, and general training protocols for new hires. Managed HR for a team of 5 as well as shift managed a daily rotating team of 68 people operating the warehouse.
