I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Truett-McConnell University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Concentration in Management Accounting in 2015. During my time at Truett-McConnell I received various citations on both the President's Club and Dean's List, including academic awards for the length of time spent on both lists. I was actively involved in the founding of Truett-McConnell's chapter of Sigma Beta Delta; a national honor society for students pursuing a business degree, the first of any honor society at Truett-McConnell. I am currently enrolled in a Master of Business Administration degree with Texas A&M University and expect to graduate at the end of 2016. I am interested in overall professional development and, as a young professional, I am always looking for ways to enhance my marketability. I take great pride in striving to do the best that I can at every task that I take on. I presently own Nacoochee Poochie Pet Grooming, LLC; the only AKC certified salon in the state. We also employ 1 of 20 nationally certified groomers in Georgia. I have gained a wide variety of animal industry experience over the last 11 years. I combined my experience and business skill to form a business that started home-based, part time, to a business that occupies a 6,000 sq. ft. facility, located in the former Babyland General. We offer grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, training, and a boutique. I presently employ three people full time, two part time, and two trainers. The pursuit of my business has been very rewarding, as it has enabled me to actively pursue all aspects of business in which I am interested in.
