I graduated with an Associates in Nursing in 2021. My experience as a staff nurse has been on a medical-surgical unit, serving post-operative patients and also a variety of case types. I earned my bachelors in the science of nursing degree in 2023.My skills include experience with the EHR/EMR and documentation, bedside manner and therapeutic communication, time management with competing priorities, critical thinking and evaluating changes in patient condition, coordination with other departments in the hospital, patient and staff advocacy. I am trained in administering chemotherapy drugs and blood products, in managing central lines, using infusion pumps, and symptom management.I have 15 years of experience in several other industries which built skills that I still use to this day and incorporate into nursing practice. These skills include professional communication, scheduling, team-building, stocking, counting money, working fast-paced environments, doing custom jobs per client preferences, and learning quickly.
