Welcome to my profile! I'm a passionate and driven professional with a strong foundation in psychology and a clear vision for my future in marriage and family therapy. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles, where I earned Dean’s List honors and became a proud member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.Currently, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University Worldwide, having started my journey in August 2024. My aspiration is to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), where I can empower individuals, couples, and families to navigate challenges, foster connection, and thrive together.Throughout my professional journey, I’ve gained a wealth of experience in program coordination, research, customer engagement, and leadership. My time as a Program Assistant with the Los Angeles Community College District sharpened my skills in administrative support, communication, and workshop development. At Orchard Supply Hardware, I developed exceptional customer service skills and a knack for problem-solving. My leadership roles, including serving as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair for Delta Zeta Theta Rho Sorority, have taught me the value of fostering inclusive, solution-oriented environments.In addition, I have a background in research as a Social Psychology Research Lab Assistant, where I honed my expertise in data analysis and research methodologies. My skill set also includes proficiency in English and intermediate Spanish, as well as tools like Microsoft Office, Slack, and design software.As a graduate student, I am eager to connect with opportunities that will enrich my skills and prepare me for a successful career as an LMFT. I’m currently seeking roles that allow me to apply my expertise and grow, whether in clinical settings, educational roles, or community-based work.
