Current-Create an enthusiastic learning environment in a classroom space with up to 12 students ages 12-17. -Communicate with the family of the student, coordinate with schools and districts to build relationships and foster academic progress.-Guide students toward a balance of work and play-Deliver a specialized, practical curriculum fostering a growth mindset and executive function development. -Prepare and deliver short specialized lessons/discussions on Academic Resilience.− Utilize and develop understanding of the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth patterns of students.− Conduct business in an appropriate manner and the ability to work effectively with District personnel, community representatives, parents, and students.− Organize and maintain classroom facility (art supplies, computer and information storage and maintenance).− Develop a firm understanding of IEP’s, 504’s, and the rights of students in adverse situations due to the leave required to treat mental health.− Communicate consistently and collaboratively with the Director of Education to ensure the needs of all clients are being met.− Collaborate with the clinical team on need basis.
