Current• Manages and coordinates Department recruitment advertising for all DFCS positions, including posting on Workplace Alaska and developing standardized interview questions.• Participates in interview panels, makes hiring recommendations, and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and laws.• Identifies and evaluates candidate sourcing methods, contributing to innovative recruitment strategies for challenging positions.• Coordinates and attends recruitment and community outreach events as a department representative.• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of department recruitment and serves as an information source for the public and prospective applicants.• Provides information on personnel rules, regulations, employee benefits, and assists in agency onboarding of new employees.• Reviews current and historical data to identify workforce needs and stays updated on market and workforce trends.• Participates in public presentations on job opportunities for the Department of Family and Community Services.• Conducts job analysis and job classification to ensure accurate job postings and candidate assessments.• Screens applicants, conducts initial interviews, and assesses candidate qualifications against job requirements.• Provides guidance and support to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, selection, and onboarding.• Performs data entry and maintains candidate databases with accurate and up-to-date information.• Generates reports and analyzes recruitment data to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.• Assists in the development and implementation of data-driven recruitment initiatives to improve candidate sourcing and selection processes.• Provides training and support to team members on data entry procedures.• Identifies opportunities for process automation and optimization to streamline data entry workflows and improve efficiency.
