Hailing from Lyon, France, Julien studied physics of acoustics and signal processing at the Université du Maine – Le Mans before continuing his studies in acoustical engineering, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (first grade) from the University of Southampton. He completed his studies at the INSA (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées) de Lyon, graduating with a Master of Science in acoustics and signal processing applied to medical imaging.Julien started his career working as an engineer for a French noise and vibration analysis tools manufacturer and followed as an audio specialist for a mobile phone company as well as voice recognition solutions developer.Working now at L-Acoustics for more than 11 years as application manager, Julien design & support high-end professional audio system solution for the most advanced fixed installation projects around the globe. From Live venue, Auditorium and Concert Hall to large Sport Facilities, he ensures that optimum sound performance is achieved as well as a high level of coordination and expertise between project stakeholders. Julien is an advanced expert in immersive sound as well as room acoustics enhancement for live application. He also develops business opportunities between complex venue requirements and Audio-Visual solution.Beside his current position, Julien is pushing his competencies to strategy and management by following an Executive MBA program at EM-Lyon.
