CurrentAnswers telephone calls from people within the Commonwealth of Virginia in need of services. Through extensive communication skills, determines nature of call and dispenses needed services information.Adheres to a high degree of trust, objectivity and confidentiality with clients, families, as well as staff. Through objective reasoning, determines when a call needs to be escalated to a more serious mental health issue, many times, through a change in the thinking processes along with utilizing structured training, assist the caller to focus on positive solutions, rather than negative events.Assist with maintaining statistical tracking information through specialized software in an attempt to accurately pinpoint needs and to assist in receiving on-going funding.
