The purpose of the P4LWG is to develop PASA’s position on the suggested Pot for Life pension reforms as further details emerge by:Identifying specific legislative, regulatory or process changes required to support the delivery of Pot for LifeCreating relevant Guidance for trustees, providers, administrators and sponsorsResponding to relevant consultationsExploring the regulations, identifying what these responsibilities mean for trustees, providers, administrators and sponsors and understanding the outcomes we should be working towards

I consult on pensions tech and policy / regulations through my business Laverock FC.

Responsible for providing insight and strategic thinking on long term savings, specialising in the impact of technology. Key Achievements:Ongoing engagement with the Pensions Dashboard Programme including lobbying, membership of industry working groups and response to regulatory consultations.Invited to be a member of the Pensions Dashboard Data Standards group that delivered the detailed data requirements for Pensions Dashboard.Successfully navigated Pensions Dashboard through governance processes from a forthcoming item to a full project within Royal London which is now on target to deliver to all the regulatory requirements. This was achieved whilst managing multiple stakeholders, and budget challenges and by working closely with the project sponsors and program managers to make sure all the regulatory and propositional requirements are met. Reviewing the impact Pensions Dashboard will have on the pensions market which is now leading to concrete proposals, that I am the author of, to respond to the risks and opportunities these will represent. Membership of the STAR steering committee and implementation groups. Ensuring that Royal London was fully aware of this initiative and ensuring that it is on the radar of senior management in Royal London. This has involved successfully challenging STAR on timelines.Leading Member of working groups on the potential implementation of proposed solutions to the Small Pots issue in workplace pensions. Ensuring that any high level solutions proposed are practical to implement and providing expertise on the crossover with Pensions Dashboard.

As E-Business Development Manager my role is to drive the use of integrated digital channels for business.On an ongoing basis this includes:Membership of industry groups such as Pensions Dashboard, ORIGO and PAPDIS BIB.Maintenance of business relationships with a dozen Financial Adviser Back Office systems.Review of requirements for change to the online systems and requests for updates / improvements.Over the last 7 years I have also played a key role in a number of major projects. These include:Delivery of Automatic Enrolment, where I continue to own the role of insight into the payroll and middleware market.Delivery of 12 contract enquiry links with Back Office and Benefits platforms. This included being the business lead and taking ownership of legal negotiations with regard liability and data protection.The corporate rebrand of Scottish Life to Royal London, were I ensured that the digital and e-commerce systems were updated to the new brand whilst supporting the business, and supported the wider project as and when appropriate.The Retail Distibution Review where I was responsible for ensuring that our links with third parties for illustration quotes, commission statements and valuations links were updated with the third parties correctly.
