When I was 19 years old, I went to work for my father’s real estate management company. Instead of giving me special treatment as his son, he expected more from me than his other employees. Every day, without fail, I would rise at the crack of dawn and complete heavy manual labor. In the evenings I went to school to earn my degrees – first my bachelor’s then my master’s. I repeated this routine for seven years. Though I may not have realized it at the time, this experience ingrained in me the relentless work ethic I’ve carried throughout my career.I am now founder and CEO of multiple businesses, all of which stem from deep curiosity, creativity, and my determination to make a positive global impact.Before I founded MPower, a renewable energy company, I found myself fascinated by the idea of reducing carbon emissions on a massive scale without the constraint of building or delivering a physical product. With hundreds of dedicated employees, I am proud to say that MPower now spans 11 offices and 30 utilities. My mission to create a greener planet has been adopted by thousands of homes and businesses across 9 states. MPower’s success influenced my decision to launch Overpass, a SaaS platform for remote work. By offering sustainable remote work opportunities to a global talent pool, I knew that businesses could find the same trust and confidence in their remote workforce as they have in their in-house teams.In line with my values of creating positive, sustainable impact, I stay active in my local community and charitable organizations.
